Day6 Will Perform On Music Show Again.

DAY6 ON MUSIC SHOW AGAIN!!

This is definitely a great news to all Day6 fans. Finally, we can enjoy Day6 performance on music show!! They will performe starting with M! Countdown on 9^th March 2017. After such a long time since ‘Letting Go’, Day6 has decided to promote their latest March comeback through music programmes.

I hope Day6 will gain more recognition in Korea music industry. This band is so talented. Personally, I believe their main charm is that almost all their members can sing. I think this is rare not only in Korea, but internationally. Usually, a band has a lead vocal and others might be a supporting vocal. However, Day6 is special because four out of five members are the vocals of their band. Even their rappers can sing well!! How charming is that? These good-looking men also plays their own instruments, compose and write their own songs.

WHO IS DAY6?

I am sure a lot of people is not familiar with Day6 as they are a rock band instead of a KPop group. Please allows me to give you a brief introduction on the band.

Day6 is a rock band from JYP Entertainment. They debuted back in 2015 with a track ‘Congratulation’ from EP ‘The Day’. Originally consists of six members: Sungjin, Jae, Junhyeok, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. Now, they are promoting as a five members band after Junhyeok left. They were supposed to promote as a band called 5Live before drummer, Dowoon joins the band. As 5Live, they appeared briefly on Mnet’s ‘Who is Next (WIN)’ during a YG vs JYP trainees battle.

Day6 rarely appears on television shows including music programmes because they choose to be promoted through unconventional ways like busking. They are a regular guest on KBS’s radio show, ‘Kiss the Radio’, with many amazing song covers. You really need to check their amazing covers. One of the member, Jae is a fixed host for program ‘After School Club’.

EVERY DAY6

I enjoys listening to the members so I kept wanting more from them. When waiting for their next comeback after ‘Letting Go’, the only ways to listen to their voices is through KBS’s Kiss the Radio. So, I was very excited when Day6 announced their Every Day6 projects. Through this project, I can listen to them throughout this year since they are releasing two singles monthly from January until December. Plus, Day6 also has concerts every month. I am glad that Day6 is being more active this year compared to previous years. I know that they prefer to promote through busking and other unconventional ways, but I like to see them appears more on television programs. Recently, Sungjin did appeared on MBC’s ‘Duet Festival Song’ and I was so happy to see his performance. Personally, I wish to see Day6 performs on KBS’s ‘Immortal Songs 2’ because I want them to receive more love. Plus, it will be fun to see their reinterpretation and rearrangement of a legend’s song. Or perhaps any of the members can joins MBC’s ‘King of Masked Singers’. Hope my wish will come true.
